Climate change...have we got it wrong?

Should we change the focus of climate change from the reduction of carbon dioxide to the elimination of priority chemicals?

According to www.GoesFoundation.com priority chemical pollution has reduced the ability of the marine ecosystem by a greater factor that the increase in CO2 emissions from the burning of fossil fuels. If this is the situation then we have got it all wrong with Climate Change, and if we lose the marine ecosystem the terrestrial system will also fail. We need to stop toxic chemical pollution and this may need to happen within 10 years, or it could be too late.
