The public has been misled into thinking electric cars, solar energy, and wind turbines will stop climate change. The reality is probably the reverse.

There are many reports saying exactly the same thing, so why the focus on carbon cessation?
Carbon mitigation as a solution for climate disruption is not going to work; we have been saying this for three decades now. Academic science is beginning to catch up with the reality of the situation.
The only solution is the elimination of pollution in all its forms and the regeneration of ecosystems and nature, both terrestrial and especially marine.
